The "Caring Comes First" Difference

Many of my current patients have struggled with other providers or agencies not returning their calls, having long waitlists to begin care, or not providing reliable or consistent follow-up appointments.

A contact with my practice is a contact made directly with me - not a phone tree, assistant, unmonitored contact form, or answering service.  I do my best to return calls or messages promptly and personally during business hours.

I am able to keep waits for initial sessions low by focusing on the areas of care I am most passionate about and experienced in.  As part of my intake process, I make sure I am a good fit for patients' needs before establishing them as a patient, using both of our time wisely.

Once I accept a new patient, I am committed to following through to meet their needs.   I have continuously operated my solo private practice in the Tulsa/Broken Arrow area for over 25 years.  My personal and professional roots are here. It is my privilege to serve our community.  I am dedicated to my patient's progress and well-being through their challenges and triumphs, whether that is over a few short sessions or through long-term support.

My practice, your safe space.  You are welcome and safe in my practice regardless of your ability, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, political affiliation, or religion.  It is my mission to treat all patients with the respect and dignity they deserve.

Your therapy, your location - even out of state.  Even though I am firmly planted here, sometimes my patients' lives, careers, travels, or education take them away from Oklahoma. I can also accept new patients from 42 states and counting. Since I have an APIT credential (Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology), my services can meet you where you are.
