Telehealth:
Your Therapy - Your Location
Quality mental healthcare, without the commute
When I established my private practice over 25 years ago, I never expected that I would conduct sessions via telehealth. However, when COVID-19 necessitated distance for health and safety, I discovered that telehealth could be a very effective way to connect with patients. So, I re-imagined my practice to make telemedicine my primary treatment modality.
Telehealth can:
- Save time and money on session commutes
- Limit inclement weather interferences
- Accommodate medical or mobility challenges
- Alleviate the need for child or dependent adult care during sessions
- Eliminate navigational and parking challenges
- Offer care within the comfort and security of your own space
Reliable, secure, and easy
- Sessions conducted over Zoom with a HIPAA-compliant audio and video connection
- One click to join from your smartphone, laptop, desktop, or tablet
- Join your session from anywhere - home, work, your car, or even out of state
I hold an active APIT credential (Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology) through PSYPACT. This grants me authorization to see patients in 42 states and counting from my Oklahoma practice. I can now accept out-of state patients and remain available to my existing patients through life, job, or school transitions seamlessly.
